Inspired by Rudolph Schindler's California Modernist Homes, this 5,000 sq.ft., two-story home is situated in Studio City. The main exterior emulates the spacious and open feelings of the modernist era, and is composed of smooth steel troweled stucco, IPE wood slats, and cast concrete. A southern facing courtyard incorporating windows and sliding glass doors provides a large amount of natural light. Upon entering through the front door, the interior of the house uses a natural color scheme palette of materials. An open glazed stairway that faces the courtyard guides one through all three floors of the house, which includes a large entertaining basement, which is equipped with an entertainment home theater and an idealistic full bar with wine room and game area.
